The disappearance of Kadiatu Sheriff has reportedly become the subject of a police investigation following events involving her brother, Mahmoud Sheriff, and allegations that she assisted him in escaping from custody.

According to accounts surrounding the case, Mahmoud was reportedly arrested following an incident at a hotel involving another man. A hotel worker identified as Ibrahim Unisa allegedly reported the matter to the police, after which officers arrived and took Mahmoud into custody.

During subsequent questioning, Mahmoud was reportedly asked about his background, including his alleged deportation from Guinea. He was said to have been among individuals deported from Guinea and subsequently brought to Sierra Leone.

According to the account of the investigation, Mahmoud allegedly identified his sister, Kadiatu Sheriff, as the person who assisted him in escaping from custody.

The allegation reportedly brought Kadiatu to the attention of investigators, who subsequently began looking for her in connection with the alleged escape. Her whereabouts have since remained unknown.

Private Life and Community Pressure
