The Director General of the National Social Security and Insurance Trust (NASSIT), Chernor Mamoud Jalloh, on Monday, 14 September 2026, commenced a week-long nationwide operational tour of NASSIT’s regional offices, operational centres and investment sites.
The tour began at the NASSIT Sub-Office in Kono District, where the Director General engaged staff on their welfare, operational challenges and the institution’s service delivery.
Mr. Jalloh reaffirmed Management’s commitment to improving staff welfare and outlined his vision to reposition NASSIT for greater efficiency, effectiveness and impact in delivering social security services.
During his visit to Kono, the Director General also met with the Paramount Chief, Section Chiefs and Town Chiefs, thanking them for their continued support to NASSIT.
He assured the traditional authorities of Management’s commitment to effective service delivery, institutional integrity and prudent investment of contributors’ funds.
The nationwide tour will continue over the coming days, with Mr. Jalloh expected to engage staff across NASSIT’s regional offices, identify operational challenges and strengthen the delivery of social security services to contributors and pensioners across the country.
