HADP Unveils ‘Revolution of the Mind’ as Blueprint for Economic Independence
The Humble Africans Development Party (HADP) has unveiled what it describes as a “Revolution of the Mind”—an ideological campaign aimed at promoting economic independence, responsible citizenship and national renewal through peaceful democratic engagement.
The initiative was introduced during the party’s first supporters’ meeting held on 2 August 2026 at its headquarters on 25 Dan Street in Freetown. Although unable to attend in person, HADP Founder and Leader, Abubakarr Alharazim, addressed supporters via telephone, urging Sierra Leoneans to embrace a transformation in mindset as the foundation for sustainable national development.
According to the party, the “Revolution of the Mind” is centred on education, integrity, discipline, innovation, entrepreneurship and accountability, while rejecting violence, hatred and corruption. HADP maintains that Sierra Leone’s greatest asset is its people and that meaningful progress depends on investing in human capital through education, agriculture, technology, manufacturing, healthcare and responsible leadership.
Alharazim called on Sierra Leoneans, both at home and in the diaspora, to contribute their knowledge, skills and resources towards building a more prosperous nation. He stressed that national renewal begins with individual responsibility, respect for human dignity and a commitment to honest work and community development.
The party said the meeting marked the beginning of a broader national conversation focused on ideas and solutions rather than personalities, with the ultimate goal of achieving economic independence and shared prosperity.
HADP’s guiding philosophy is encapsulated in the motto: “Never Mix Negligence and Intelligence,” alongside its core values of “Humble in Heart. Humble in Mind. Humility is Strength,” and the call to action: “Each One Reach One. Each One Teach One. Each One Lift One.”
