Italian Businessman Names Lagooda Manager in Alleged Gold Fraud Scheme

Italian businessman Alfina Siracusa has alleged that Admire Bio, Dauzy Jalloh, and the manager of Lagooda were involved in an alleged gold investment fraud that left him with substantial financial losses.
Speaking to SLIK TV, Siracusa claimed he lost US$260,000 in the investment scheme, in addition to US$50,000 paid for licensing fees.

“The total amount of money I lost in the gold investment fraud involving Admire Bio, Dauzy Jalloh and others is US$260,000. They only returned the US$50,000 I paid for the licence fees, but I have not recovered any of my investment,” he said.
According to Siracusa, the alleged fraud occurred in August last year, and despite his efforts to recover his money, he has received nothing beyond the reimbursement of the licensing fees.
He also expressed frustration over what he described as the slow pace of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) investigation into the matter.

“The country is not helping. I am the only one going to the CID,” he said, adding that communication from investigators has been limited and that he has often been the one initiating contact to obtain updates on the case.
Siracusa further stated that despite repeated follow-ups, he believes little progress has been made in the investigation and is appealing to the relevant authorities to expedite the inquiry and ensure those responsible, if any wrongdoing is established, are held accountable.
The allegations have not been independently verified, and those named in the claims have not publicly responded to the accusations at the time of publication.
