Fawaz Building Materials Donates Electrical Supplies for Completion of Police Regional Headquarters East
The Sierra Leone Police (SLP) has received a significant boost towards the completion of its long-awaited Regional Headquarters East, following a donation of electrical materials from Fawaz Building Materials Enterprise.
The project, which began 11 years ago under the leadership of then Regional Commander AIG Memuna, had stalled for years. However, under the current leadership of Inspector General (IG) Fayia Sellu, construction has made remarkable progress. The latest donation is expected to pave the way for the final completion of the facility.
Speaking at the handing-over ceremony, IG Sellu expressed deep gratitude to Fawaz Building Materials Enterprise for their timely support. He called on other Sierra Leoneans and businesses to emulate the example, stressing that the completion of the Regional Headquarters East will greatly strengthen security operations and service delivery in the region.
A representative of Fawaz, Olando Williams, who officially presented the electrical materials, commended the Sierra Leone Police for their service to the nation and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to supporting national development.
