Mercury International lotto winner Ibrahim Massaquoi has openly expressed his appreciation for the company, saying its activities have helped improve the lives of many people and reduce poverty in Sierra Leone.

The Kenema resident was all smiles as he received his winning prize of NLe82,800 (Eighty-Two Million, Eight Hundred Thousand Old Leones) after staking NLe20 in last Sunday’s “Dove Court Special Draw” Lotto.

Massaquoi was among 3,904 customers who won in the popular Balls 12–21 draw, with the winning numbers being 12, 51, 75, 20 and 21, and Extra 6 & 7: 79 and 35.

Speaking after receiving his prize, the businessman said he was proud to have won again through Mercury International and encouraged the general public to participate in the company’s various draws.

“Indeed, Mercury International is a company that helps to reduce the poverty rate in many homes in Sierra Leone,” Massaquoi said.

He acknowledged that some people, particularly religious leaders, are opposed to betting activities, but maintained that Mercury International has helped many people, especially young people, amid the country’s current economic challenges.

“Mercury International helps to reduce the poverty rate in many homes, even though others are against it, especially our religious leaders,” he said.

Massaquoi further encouraged young people to participate in the company’s draws.

“I want to encourage everyone, especially the youth, to please be part and be part of winning,” he said.

He thanked the management and staff of Mercury International for their support and encouraged others to take part in the company’s various draws.

Massaquoi revealed that he has been playing Mercury International betting games for more than six years, making his latest win another memorable experience in his betting journey.
