CTC Mining on the Brink of Collapse ….As Workers Go Months Without Pay

By VOS Investigation Desk
Reports received by Voice of Salone Newspaper revealed that CTC Mining is on the brinks of collapse as the company is struggling to pay its workers over a month now.
According to complaints received by Voice of Salone Newspaper, several workers alleged that they have gone months without receiving their salaries. The workers claim the prolonged non-payment has caused severe financial hardship for them and their families.
In addition to the salary concerns, the workers also alleged that the company has failed to maintain acceptable working conditions, raising concerns about occupational health and safety standards at the mining site.
Sources further informed this newspaper that CTC Mining has suspended its operations. However, the reasons behind the reported suspension remain unclear.
In the interest of fairness and balanced reporting, Voice of Salone Newspaper contacted the company’s representative, Mr. Hisham Mackie, seeking clarification on the allegations. Specifically, the newspaper requested his response to claims relating to the reported non-payment of salaries, the alleged poor working conditions, occupational health and safety concerns, and the reported suspension of the company’s operations.
Responding, Mr. Mackie or CTC Mining Company said he will call later as that did not materialize up to the time of going to press. More on this in subsequent editions
