To address the issue of kush in the country… APC MP Calls on Pres.Bio To Speak Up
Opposition Chief Whip in Parliament, Hon. Abdul Karim Kamara, has called on President Bio to wake up from his slumber and speak up to address the issue of Kush in the country.
“President Bio should not keep quite; he needs to speak up to address the issue of Kush in the country”, Hon. AKK made this statement over the continuous silence of the President about what is unfolding among young people in the country as they are getting into catacombs.
The dynamic and pragmatic MP affirmed that Kush has entered almost all communities including villages and it is likely more dangerous than Coronavirus as many communities as well as villages did not record any cases.
He proposes for a rehabilitation centers just like during the Ebola and Coronavirus scourges as they will serve as a place where the victims will be taking for medication and to reintegrate them in the society.
He lamented on the limited resources allocated to Drug Law Enforcement Agency which has posed serious challenge to the institution’s in the fight against kush in the country. “There is limited resources allocated to Drug Enforcement agency to capacitate them to carry out their function effectively and efficiently”, he said, and appealed to all patriotic citizens to join hands on deck to fight against the harmful substances that is killing young people in the country.
Hon. Abdul Karim Kamara has stood firm to ensure that the killer substance being eradicated in the country as he has taking the campaign to various schools and communities that is yielding good dividends for the nation.
