Wanted Dutch Drug Lord Allegedly Fathers Child with Sierra Leone President’s Daughter

European Union–most-wanted drug lord Jos Leijdekkers, widely known by his alias “Bolle Jos,” is alleged to have fathered a child with Agnes Bio, the daughter of Sierra Leone’s President Julius Maada Bio, according to claims circulating online.

The allegation was made by Mohamed Mansaray, an opposition leader in Sierra Leone, in a Facebook post. Mansaray alleged that Leijdekkers is being protected by President Bio and his family, despite being one of Europe’s most sought-after fugitives.

Leijdekkers, who is wanted by both Dutch and Belgian authorities, is believed to be hiding in Sierra Leone, a country that has increasingly become a strategic point in the so-called “Africa route” — a growing corridor used by international drug traffickers to transport narcotics.

In February 2025, photographs surfaced allegedly showing Leijdekkers and Agnes Bio attending a New Year’s Mass together. The Dutch investigative outlet Follow the Money had previously reported that Leijdekkers was residing in Sierra Leone.

Leijdekkers was sentenced in absentia in the Netherlands to 24 years in prison for his involvement in six major drug trafficking operations. He was also fined €96 million for the illicit profits he reportedly earned.

Separately, in Belgium, Leijdekkers received a 13-year prison sentence in February 2025 for attempting to steal ten tonnes of cocaine from Antwerp customs. This came in addition to another 10-year sentence imposed by an Antwerp court in September 2024 for a related case.

Leijdekkers remains on the run, and both Interpol and European law enforcement agencies continue to pursue him.
