UBA Sierra Leone Charts 2026 Growth Path at Annual Strategy Session

UBA Sierra Leone on January 23–24, 2026, held its Annual Strategy Session, bringing together staff from all departments to review 2025 performance, align strategic priorities, and set a clear roadmap for the 2026 business year.

The two-day session focused on execution, teamwork, customer centricity, and digital innovation as key drivers of sustainable growth and competitiveness.

In his address, the Board Chairman urged staff to remain strongly business-focused and action-oriented, stressing the need for strategies to be backed by clear, measurable outcomes. He emphasized the importance of sustaining UBA Sierra Leone’s number-one position in the market and maintaining leadership in Profit Before Tax (PBT).

Reinforcing this message, the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Mohamed Alhajie Samoura, reminded staff that “strategy is nothing without execution.” He challenged teams to translate plans into tangible results as the bank continues to set the pace for banking excellence in the digital era.

The session concluded with a renewed sense of unity, purpose, and commitment among staff to deliver on UBA Sierra Leone’s 2026 strategic objectives.
