U.S. Ambassador Hosts Millennium Challenge Authority Board of Directors
The United States Ambassador to Sierra Leone, David Bryan Hunt, recently hosted members of the Board of Directors of the Millennium Challenge Authority – Sierra Leone (MCA-SL) at his residence for a working lunch. The gathering marked the resumption of compact implementation and provided an opportunity to discuss the next steps in the process.
During the meeting, Ambassador Hunt reaffirmed the U.S. government’s commitment to supporting Sierra Leone’s development goals through the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) Compact. The MCA-SL Board is currently focused on recruiting its executive leadership team and finalizing board membership by selecting two representatives from civil society organizations (CSOs) and one from the private sector.
The lunch served as a collaborative forum to reaffirm shared priorities and ensure a successful path forward for the compact.
