President Elect of the United States of America, Donald J Trump, has appointed the richest man in the world, Elon Musk, to lead the department of government efficiency.
According to a statement issued by President Trump on 12th November, 2024, he said Elon will work in conjuction with vivek Ramaswamy in this department to pave the way for his administration to dismantle bureaucracy, slash excess regulations, cut wasteful expenditures and restructure federal Agencies- essential to the “save America” movement. This department, according to Trump, will become the mahantan project which will provide advice and guidance from outside of government and will be partnering with White House and office of management and budget to drive large scale structural reform, and create an entrepreneurial approach to government never seen before.
“I look forward to Elon and Vivek making changes to the federal bureaucracy with an eye of efficiency and, at the same time, making life better for all Americans.
He also added that with this project, they will drive out the massive waste and fraud which exists throughout their annual $6.5 trillion dollars of Government spending.
