The Chairman of the Western Rural District, Kasho Holland Cole, has made startling revelations concerning the 2023 Presidential Election, which declared President Julius Maada Bio as the winner.
Cole disclosed that while on his way to Liberia in 2023 to commission a match, he received a call from Dr. Samura Kamara, who confided in him that “there would be no rerun in the Presidential poll.” According to Cole, Kamara further revealed that a plan for power sharing was already underway. In response, Cole said he made it clear that if Kamara was unwilling to accept a rerun, then he should forget about any prospect of power sharing.
Addressing ongoing claims surrounding the Electoral Justice campaign, Cole dismissed the movement as misleading. He stressed that Dr. Kamara—often regarded as the ringleader—was not only being misled but had also been psychologically influenced by individuals within his own camp.
Cole alleged that some of Kamara’s close associates were using fetish practices to manipulate his thinking, convincing him that he would become the next President with backing from the international community. He further revealed that promoters of the Electoral Justice campaign had even set multiple dates for Kamara’s supposed swearing-in as President—yet none materialized.
While describing Kamara as “a perfect gentleman,” Cole explained that he had personally urged him to be truthful with the people. “Samura Kamara is my friend and brother, a true gentleman. But he cannot genuinely speak about Electoral Justice because his mind has been influenced—through fetish practices—by certain members of his team,” Cole stated.
He also argued that many who publicly champion Kamara and the Electoral Justice movement are doing so for personal attention, not genuine democratic interest. Cole concluded by noting that a large section of Kamara’s supporters believe that without him, the All People’s Congress (APC) cannot survive—a perception he strongly criticized.
