Former Law School Director Dr. Abu Bakarr Bangura, who resigned and was later referred to the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) over various alleged corruption offences, has claimed that his home was barricaded by the Office of Security and Defense (OSD). He further alleged that people continue to pursue him despite the matter being under ACC investigation.
Speaking on the matter, Dr. Bangura said that, due to ongoing threats to his safety, he is now seeking refuge in West Africa. “Yesterday, the ACC broke into my office and sent OSD personnel to barricade my house. My office locks were changed,” he revealed.
Dr. Bangura also confirmed that he intends to send legal representatives to appear on his behalf before the ACC regarding the allegations.
