“if I am elected as the President of SierraLeone’s come June 24, I will redeem the country from the shackle of poverty”, he said, noting that his first assignment as President is to improve the country’s agricultural climate and positioned it to grow its own food and flood the market with them which will inturn attract more trades, and increase the country’s foreign reserve and bolsters other investment opportunities.
Another explanation advanced by him to remove the country’s from the stricken poverty is to create more jobs for the average SierraLeoneans and open the space for investors to invest in the country.
“If I become President, my Assignment is to open the space for investors to invest in Sierra Leone as that would help in job creation”, he added.
He also spoke about what he intends to do to bolster foreign direct investment in the country, adding that “A foreign direct investment is difficult to achieve when the investment climate is unfavorable”.
He also bemoaned the battered health care system and the unstable electricity and the weak institutions which are all affecting the progress of this great nation
He said: “because of the high cost of living in the country, many SierraLeoneans are now going to bed hungry”, and promised to change that narrative when he becomes the President.
He concluded by revealing his plans to unify Sierra Leone by breaching the tribal divide which is hitting deep into the fabrics of this great nation.
“I will replace the politics of tribes to that of national unity”, he maintained, furthering that under his dispensation as President no SierraLeoneans will be denied the opportunity to serve this country regardless of his/her political affiliations, gender, ethnicity, and social status.
