Mohamed Bangura Spits Fire
Hon. Mohamed Bangura has spit fire, stating that he never regrets his action to take the oath of office as elected member of Parliament of the APC.
“I feel elated when I subscribed to the oath of office as elected member of Parliament on Thursday. What I did was my constitutional right after being elected as member of Parliament”, he disclosed, and describing the decision taken by the APC to boycott Parliament as a wrongful decision. “The decision taken by NAC preventing all elected officers of the APC from partaking in the governance of the state was not consultative…The members of NAC that took such decision did not form the quorum and therefore the decision was wrong”, Mohamad Bangura reveals, further stating that his expectation was for NAC to look at the far-reaching implications before making any decision.
He also explained that when NAC imposed the decision for all elected officers of the party to follow, he was at the meeting and wanted to ask questions, but he was not given the opportunity to do so by the Chairman of the APC, Minkailu Mansaray.
