JFK Admonishes APC To Challenge the Election Results in Court

Former Attorney and Minister of Justice, Joseph Fitzgerald Kamara, has admonished the APC to challenge the election results in Court, stating that any decision by the APC to abandon legal redress is regrettable.

“As lawyers we owe it an ethical duty to represent the best interest of the client. Elections are challenged by petitioning the results before the courts. Any decision to abandon legal redress is regrettable”, JFK said in his tweeter page, noting that based on implicitly, the APC has acquiesced and accepted the outcome.

However, JFK advice was opposed by certain element of the APC who are holding to the views that nothing positive will come out if the APC challenged the election results in court. “with all due respect, we will not go to court. With the way how things are going right now, we do not have confidence in the judiciary. We will fight for ourselves”, Supporters of the APC disclosed.
