Reports reaching this medium intimated that Ibrahim Mansaray, a resident of 12 Blackhall Road in the East End part of Freetown,has been declared wanted for his alleged involvement in gay bisexual activities contrary to the laws of the land.
Ibrahim Mansaray who comes from a Muslim background with his father as a strong muslim figure and Chief Imam of the Basharia Mosque, is said to have committed one of the worse crime by getting himself involved in gay life.
Investigation revealed that sometimes in July 25, 2022, Ibrahim was caught by his younger brother making love with his gay partner inside his bedroom.
This discovery came about when his younger brother who came to visit him banged the door and intruded inside the room.
Upon his intrusion, Ibrahim was caught red-handed romancing, kissing and making love with his gay partner.
His brother immediately raised the alarm which attracted the attention of Community youths who rushed at the scene and descended on Ibrahim and his gay partner, thereby subjecting them into merciless beaten with sticks, and threatening to set them ablaze for what they described as sacrilege against the customs, Traditions and religious beliefs.
Eyewitnesses who saw how Ibrahim and his gay partner were manhandled immediately alerted the police who came to their rescue.
Upon arriving at the scene, the Police met Ibrahim and his gay partner lying on the ground and crying for help. They took them to the police station and issued a medical reports for medical examination.
Ibrahim went to the Rokupar Government hospital to see the doctor, whom, advised him to be admitted and undergo thorough medical diagnosis and treatment.
Fast forward, Ibrahim was admitted in the hospital for days.
There at the hospital at one particular night, Ibrahim asked the nurse for him to use the bathroom, an opportunity that was granted to him. Ibrahim went to the bathroom by himself and without the assistance of anybody.
After some hours, and upon inquiry by the nurse about the situation of Ibrahim in the bathroom, the Nurse noticed that ibrahim was not in the bathroom.
The nurse asked those he met around the bathroom for Ibrahim, but they were all skeptical about his whereabouts, except those that were saying they saw one patient going out of the hospital gate.
The Nurse started searching around for Ibrahim until he came across a passerby who told him that he spotted one man few minutes ago, whom, resembles like a patient walking out of the hospital gate.
After several search, the nurse could not locate the Whereabouts of Ibrahim Mansaray.
Sources further hinted this newspaper that at one particular night, Ibrahim Mansaray was seen sleeping on the street and on the following day, they later learnt that he had travelled to Guinea because of fear of being killed.
Our confidants couldn’t give us the exact location in Guinea where ibrahim is residing.
A legal luminary Pious Kamara Esq. when contacted to give his legal advice on the issue told this medium that anybody arrested and charged to court and found guilty for offences related to Gay, bisexual, and lesbianism will go for life imprisonment for a period of 14 years backed with hard labour.
However, family sources disclosed that the father of Ibrahim has disowned him since he was caught engaging in homosexuality.
Ibrahim Father was a fervent Muslim and the Chief Imam of Basharia Mosque and that because of his son involvement in gay practice, the elders in the Basharia Mosque has taken desciplinary action by suspending him as Chief Imam.
Some Family members had even threatened to kill Ibrahim if seen for what they described as ‘shame and disgrace’ he had brought to the family.
The Whereabouts of Ibrahim Mansaray is unknown since he left the hospital and that he has also been declared wanted by his family members.
In an effort to cross check from Ibrahim Mansaray, this writer made frantic efforts to get his side but all prove futile.
