Former NEC Boss is Seriously Sick

A recent portrait of Dr. Christiana Thorpe, a prominent figure in Sierra Leone who served as Chief Commissioner of the Electoral Commission, has sparked concern among many as she appears visibly frail and unwell.  To ascertain the veracity of that picture, a source closer to the Former NEC Commissioner revealed that she is seriously sick as her health keeps deteriorating. It is not clear from our source whether Christiana Thorpe is in hospital in Freetown, but all he could tell us is that the latter is struggling with her health.

Dr. Thorpe is no stranger to the SierraLeone Political history as she served as two- term Chief Electoral Commissioner and Chairperson of the National Electoral Commission(NEC), which is an independ body responsible for conducting elections in SierraLeone.

Notably, She holds the distinction for being the first woman to have held the position of Chief Electoral Commissioner in the history of Sierra Leone.
