Fatima Bio Sends Strong Message To Maada Bio’s ‘Side Chick’

While making a statement at the inauguration of the newly Executive of the Sierra Leone Traders Union in Koinadugu District, First Lady of SierraLeone, Mrs Fatima Bio, first and foremost reminded the gatherings about the new law passed by the Government to stop early marriage. She therefore encouraged all parents to take advantage of this law to educate their girl child, rather than forcing them to early marriage.
“I want to encourage you all to make good use of this law and educate your girl child, rather than forcing them to early marriage. Whenever you educate a girl, you are given them the opportunity to become a significant asset in society”, she added.
Fatima continued by stating that it is because of education that enables her to become a strategic First Lady of Sierra Leone, maintaining that: “You can’t buy the first Lady in the Market if you’re not educated”, and urging all parents to pay special attention to their girl child education.
Making an analogy, Fatima Bio argued that all successive Presidents in Sierra Leone either have many wives or too many side chicks, but said her husband is afraid to do likewise, intimating that “Maada Bio knows that if he attempts to do such, he will be faced with the stiffest resistance”. Her statement was made in Krio parlance, saying “Maada Bio know the porsin way E put na ose, so if e craze, well, E know say are craze pass am”.
Fatima’s outburst has come under scrutiny, prompting many people to ask the questions whether the President is already having a side chick, or is craving to have one.
