Dissolving EGTC & EDSA Boards… President Bio Takes Strategic Steps To Address Energy Crisis

In a strategic change of event, His Excellency President Julius Maada Bio, who also doubles as Minister of Energy, has dissolved the EGTC and EDSA Boards. This decision of the President was contained in a Press Release issued by State House.

This development comes in the heels of the President’s recent announcement regarding his decision to assume direct control of the Ministry of Energy.

Following the resignation of Alhaji Kanja Sesay as Energy Minister, President Bio announced himself as the New Minister and revealed his decision to take direct control of the Ministry of Energy.

The resignation of the energy minister appears to have prompted a series of strategic changes within the energy sector, culminating in the dissolution of the boards of EDSA and EGTC.
