Prior to the 2018 Elections, President Bio succeeded in cajoling the leadership of the Alliance Democratic Party to join forces with him for his second Term victory.
The ADP leadership agreed to join President Bio and was with him throughout his campaign. SLPP and ADP signed an alliance agreement to work together for the victory of President Bio.
In that alliance agreement, the ADP members put forward their case for their members to be appointed into various positions after President Bio re-election victory. The President agreed to their demands and entered an agreement with them.
However, three month down the line since President Bio re-election victory, nothing much has been done for ADP Members in the area of Presidential appointment after they have submitted their names for consideration of political appointments.
Speaking to this medium, a disgruntled ADP members who begged for anonymity expressed their disappointment with President Bio for failing to appoint their members into political positions as agreed upon by both parties.
They said before throwing their weights behind President Bio, they agreed with him that if he is elected for the Second Term, their members will be considered for Presidential appointment, adding that since the President has been re-elected, nothing has been done in that direction.
“We have submitted the names of our members for Presidential appointment as requested for and uptil now the President has not yet appointed any of them”, the ADP Members said with anger, and called on the President to fulfil his own part of the agreement entered into by both parties.
