As things stand, there are indications that President Bio is not satisfied with the delivery of his appointees, and could be contemplating a big shake up. His Excellency is concerned over the underperformance of some of his appointees.
Many, if not all, of his appointees have fallen short of the President’s expectation, as they have failed to deliver tangible development in their respective Ministries and positions.
The underperformance of majority of these Appointees has caused so much headache to the Presidency, slowing down his vision to champion the development indicators promised in the Big 5 game changers.
Report, however, emanates from State House that President Bio is fed up with some of his appointees and is planning to reshuffle his cabinet, bringing onboard experienced personalities to assist him to achieve his big 5 game changers.
“The President is fed up with underperforming appointees and is going to replace them soonest”, said our state house source.
Despite receiving substantial government resources annually, many of these appointees have failed to demonstrate tangible development that can positively impact the Economy.
They are instead alleged to have resorted to siphoning and mismanaging monies meant to implement projects, for their selfish agenda, as evidenced in the Auditor General’s Report, which has highlighted widespread corruption and financial mismanagement in many Government entities, resulting in the current status quo of economic instability and hardship.
The prayer and anticipation of many Sierra Leoneans is that with the upcoming reshuffling of the President’s appointees, the new changes will bring in fresh air and prospects that would address the current economic challenges and governance issues.
