As Sick Leave Extension Granted to him… Ernest Koroma To Appear in Court on July 17th

A sick leave extension has been granted to the Former President Ernest Bai Koroma after application being submitted by his Defense Team led by Joseph Fitzgerald Kamara Esq.

Speaking on the issue, the Lead Defense Counsel of the Former President, Joseph Fitzgerald Kamara, confirmed about the sick leave extension granted to his client, stating that it is legal entitlement for any accused person to enjoy fundamental rights provided for in law, especially on critical issues of health emergency and attention.

Ernest Koroma initial sick leave extension was supposed to elapse on 18TH April, and therefore a resume of his treason trial was to be commenced, but was postponed again based

The next date for the Ernest Koroma hearing is slated for 17th July, 2024.

Meanwhile, Former President Koroma is still in Nigeria for medical attention.
