As Bio Reshuffles Cabinet… More Heads To Roll

The Sledgehammer of President Bio has begun to fall on underperforming officials entrusted the responsibility to serve and deliver for the people of Sierra Leone. With the President being fed up with those officials, he has decided not to say anything, but to take action to weed out the bad crops. Our state House confirmed to Voice of Salone Newspaper that the President has just released the smoke and leaving behind the fire. The surprising news of the President is around the corner as he is going to relieve more people in his cabinet and bring in new folks to help him achieving  his big five game changer.

In a significant restructuring, President Julius Maada Bio announced a sweeping cabinet reshuffle appointing Sadique M. Kapuwa as Chairman of the National Insurance Company, and Hon. Helen Kuyembeh as Sierra Leone Roads Authority (SLRA) as its new Chairperson, focusing on infrastructure improvement. Further, Dr. Wusu Sannoh has been named Chair of the National Monitoring and Evaluation Agency, with Mr. Moses Williams taking charge of the Statistics Council to support national data and accountability frameworks.

The reshuffle also introduces new leadership in key state corporations. Ambassador Joseph C. Blell will oversee the National Telecommunications Agency, while Mr. Mohamed E. K. Alie has been appointed to the National Commission for Social Action. Housing and utilities will also see fresh oversight, with Madam Kaday Zorokong at the Sierra Leone Housing Corporation, Mr. Lansana Konneh at the Sierra Leone Telecommunications Company, and Ing. P.K. Lansana as Chair of the Sierra Leone Electricity and Water Commission. Additionally, Mr. Joseph Ndanema has been appointed to lead the Sierra Leone Water Company, and Mr. Sahr Kpulun will head the Independent Police.
