APC Debunks Rumors of Samura Kamara Reinstatement as President of SierraLeone

In a recent interview aired on Liberty TV online, the Secretary General of the All-People’s Congress, Lansana Dumbuya, has debunked the reinstatement of Samura Kamara as President of SierraLeone by ECOMOG and or international Community, a claims that have been made and widely circulated on various social media platforms by supporters of Samura Kamara at home and abroad.
Dumbuya described the rumors as fake, stating that the party hasn’t got any clue that ECOMOG or International Community will come and reinstate Samura Kamara as President of SierraLeone and advised those that are parading with these rumors to deceive themselves.
“The APC has not received any information relating to ECOMOG or International Community intervention to Reinstate Samura Kamara as the President of SierraLeone”, he added, and expressed his frustration about the outcome of the Tripartite negotiation, which according to him, does not reflect the general position of him and other members of the Executive of the Party.
Dumbuya spoke about the party recent engagement with the Government to see the discontinuation of all political motivated cases against APC members and for them to create the atmosphere for the safe return of APC politicians who are at large.
He also narrated about the Party Executive recent visit to Former President Koroma in Nigeria and also shedding light on the advice they received from him which revolves around fostering peace and unity in the APC.
