Africell Mega Promo… Petty Trader Wins TVS Motorbike

A former housekeeper and petty trader in the person of Saudiatu Koroma on Friday 4th August, 2023 was crowned as winner of a brand new TVS Motorbike of the Africell Mega promo show.
Speaking before receiving the prize, Madam Saudatu Koroma said when the news broke out that she has won a prize from Africell, she immediately informed her husband and neighborhood that she had received a call from Africell about her winning of TVS motorbike. Her neighbors said it might be a fake call and that led her to be discouraged at first, but later Madam Nancy Toure of Africell phoned her again on Sunday night informing her to come to the Africell office at Wilberforce at 9 AM on Monday 7th August 2023.
“I was initially discouraged based on the early story I got from my neighbours about scammers, whose later told me to take along someone when going to the office for any eventuality, which I did by taking my eldest son to the office,” said the petty trader.
Abdul Aziz Kamara who acted as the Master of Ceremony shed light on the different prizes they have in store for the Africell Mega promo show and encouraged their subscribers to continue to recharge Le10 new Leone everyday and stand a chance of winning the different prizes including Suzuki cars, TVS Motorbikes, and cash prizes. He said people are wining everyday in the show and also said with the 24 TVS motorbikes which are available for the draw, one is won every week.
He revealed that the promotion will last for six-month period as it is expected to end in January 2024.
On his part, the Media Manager of Africell, John Konteh, attested that the only Africell number that subscribers must adhere to whenever they are called upon for a win is 077 777-777, and the public must as well be informed that Africell will never tell their winners to send recharge cards or demand for anything before releasing your surprise package to the fortunate winner(s).
While receiving the prize, Madam Saudiatu Koroma applauded Africell for making her a winner.
“As a mother of four children, I was a housekeeper before, but was sacked last year December 2022 and I have been at home doing some petty business. With this Motorbike which I have won, I will be looking for reliable person to ride it so that the money could be used to educate my children of which two of them have sat the West African Senior School Certificate Examinations (WASSCE),” she said.
