Ady Macauley Engages Karene APC Delegates, Reaffirms Commitment to National Leadership

In a spirited and well-attended gathering held in Selleh Limba Chiefdom, Kamakwie, Karene District, the leading APC 2028 Presidential hopeful, Lawyer Ady Macauley, met with party delegates and stakeholders from across the district to reaffirm his commitment to national leadership and inclusive governance.

The engagement brought together APC Members of Parliament, District Executives, Constituency Leaders, Councilors, Youth Leaders, and Women’s Representatives. The event commenced with interfaith prayers led by both Christian and Muslim clerics.

Alie Conteh, former Presidential Youth Aide and past APC Youth League Secretary General, formally welcomed the gathering. He emphasized the importance of connecting grassroots voices with national aspirations, framing the engagement as a platform for hope and renewal within the APC.

In his address, Ady Macauley thanked the people of Karene District for their overwhelming support and reaffirmed his determination to contest for the Presidency in 2028.

“I have consulted, I have prayed, I have stepped forward — and I am ready to lead,” he said with conviction.

Macauley presented himself as a symbol of hope and renewal, pledging to be a listening and solution-oriented leader. He underscored his faith-driven mission, promising to lead Sierra Leone with truthfulness, integrity, and vision.

“We are ready to carry the future of Sierra Leone on our backs,” he declared. “All we need is a soldier who will lead us back to State House — someone who truly stands with the people.”

In a rousing speech, District APC Chairlady Adama Kolieh M. Bangura lamented the continued marginalization of Karene District in national development.

“Karene has long been overlooked,” she said, calling for credible, inclusive leadership and meaningful change.

She expressed confidence in Ady Macauley’s candidacy, noting that the grassroots momentum behind him is not just political — it is a deep yearning for transformation.

“We are the engine of this party’s revival,” she declared, signaling Karene’s readiness to support a leader who reflects their hopes.

District Chairman Abdul Aziz Sesay also praised Macauley’s engagement and echoed the community’s desire for genuine leadership that reflects both competence and compassion.
